Jessica & Matt’s Three-Day Wedding Celebration at Castello di Rosciano
An unforgettable wedding in Umbria filled with music, soul, and Italian charm.
When Jessica and Matt dreamed of their destination wedding in Italy, they envisioned more than just a single day of celebration—they wanted to gift their loved ones a full experience. And what better place to host that than Castello di Rosciano, nestled in the Umbrian countryside?
Together, we curated a three-day wedding celebration filled with local flavors, heartfelt performances, and timeless beauty. Here's how it all unfolded.
Day 1: Umbrian Market Welcome Night
The festivities began in the castle’s garden with a cozy, rustic welcome night inspired by the charm of a traditional Umbrian food market.
We created themed corners dedicated to Italy’s culinary treasures—pasta, grilled vegetables, sausages, tomatoes, and pizza—each decorated with fresh produce and styled with classic green-and-white checkered cloths. The air was filled with laughter, the smell of grilled goodness, and the melodies of carefully selected Italian songs.
One of the sweetest surprises? The venue gifted the couple a vintage photobooth, which quickly became a favorite corner for guests to laugh, pose, and make memories.
Day 2: Poolside Fun, Mozzarella & Open Mic Magic
If day one was all about comfort and taste, day two brought joy, surprise, and genuine connection.
The morning kicked off with guests enjoying a relaxed poolside moment, but it didn’t take long before the excitement picked up with a live mozzarella show cooking—a true crowd-pleaser that added a touch of local magic to the day.
In the evening, we hosted a laid-back indoor BBQ dinner, featuring Umbrian cuts and delicious vegetable dishes. But the true highlight? An open mic night that blew us all away. What I thought might resemble a karaoke session turned into something so much deeper. Guests stepped forward with their talents: opera, classical vocals, instruments, dances, and even full trios. It was more than entertainment—it was pure human connection.
For the decor, we embraced a farm-to-table feel with naked wooden tables, potted plants, baskets of fresh vegetables, and soft votive candles lighting up the room.
Day 3: The Wedding Day at Castello di Rosciano
The grand finale was every bit as stunning as it was heartfelt.
We were a team of four women behind the scenes—each with a mission:
I oversaw logistics and vendor coordination
Beatrice was Jessica’s bridal assistant
Costanza handled the groom’s side and florals
Stella captured all the behind-the-scenes content for lasting memories
The ceremony took place in the castle’s private chapel and felt like something out of a movie. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with a lush green arch at the altar, soft draping on the windows, and dozens of candles glowing around the room. Music filled the air thanks to a beautifully arranged quartet featuring a harp, violin, cello, and viola—a deeply emotional soundtrack to an already moving ceremony.
From the aperitif all the way through the party, the energy was lifted by an incredible DJ who kept the dance floor alive and the mood just right throughout the evening.
Dinner followed with a modern and dramatic green-and-white aesthetic—elegant white-draped tables, clean tablescapes, and endless candlelight creating a romantic yet sophisticated feel.
And the cake moment? An Italian millefoglie live show, prepared in front of the guests. As Jessica and Matt cut into the cake, sparkulars lit up behind them, creating a picture-perfect moment of pure joy and surprise.
The evening ended on a true high—with non-stop dancing, laughter, and a special surprise: Jessica and Matt delighted everyone with a choreographed dance that brought the house down.
