An authentic and heartfelt wedding during covid-19
The story of a winning love!
Elena and Enrico tied the knot on 24th August 2020 at Agriturismo Podere Casato.
****FULL PLANNING PACKAGE****
I received an inquiry from Elena about the cost and information on the full wedding planning package. They have just got engaged and they were at the very early stages of the planning journey. We decided to meet personally in a bar in Siena and we already felt that we were meant to be! I still remember that evening where they asked me a lot of questions about how and where to start. They needed a person to trust who will walk right beside them and guide them throughout the planning process because they were struggling with not having much time (they both have full-time jobs) and they wanted to enjoy the planning without stress.Our adventure began with the venue scouting and we visited 10 gorgeous places in 3 days. Their heart fell for the romantic yet simple and cozy Agriturismo Podere Casato in Castelnuovo Berardenga, a recently renovated, lovely family-run property, where the authentic tuscan style can be found in every corner.
****THEN COVID ARRIVED****
Once we chose the ideal location for their big day, we started our adventure full of fun but also difficult moments due to the arrival of the pandemic. The government at 4 months away from the wedding emanates total lockdown and hence the uncertainty of whether or not we would be able to celebrate their big day as they have always dreamed and imagined. Finally after 2 months of lockdown, we got back to organizing and confirming the last details, not hiding our moods between the excitement, the adrenaline but also the psychological tiredness of the very long process that we had to face together.
****THE WEDDING DAY****
Finally the long-awaited day arrives. The sky was colored gray because the weather announced a rainy afternoon but we were ready and organized! Despite the rain every moment was perfect! The ceremony was supposed to be in the olive garden but at the end we set up the internal room of the restaurant with a few chairs, a carpet of red and white petals and the altar with a barrel framed by an arch of vine. The exchange of the vows between Elena and Enrico was very touching.[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="10323,10324"]The aperitif, initially planned by the pool, was served under the marquee whilst the newly-weds, together with the photographer and videographer, were enjoying the couple portrait session in the beautiful square at the Felsina winery and they could not fail to capture these unforgettable moments with their furry-friend "Polpetta"![gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="10321,10322"]After the aperitif, we served dinner with a typically Tuscan menu always under the marquee where a magical atmosphere was reigning thanks to the raindrops.[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="10319,10320"]The evening could not end with the live show of the cake millefoglie with the glimmering lights at their backs that reflected in the clear waters of the pool![gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="10317,10318"]Despite the various discussions, weeping and adversity, here we are almost at the end of this beautiful day: the beginning of an even stronger love!
