A Fairytale Celebration: Billy & Kierstyn’s Wedding at Castello di Rosciano

On October 3, 2023, Billy and Kierstyn celebrated their dream wedding at the historic Castello di Rosciano, nestled in the heart of Umbria. With 50 of their closest loved ones gathered, the day unfolded as a blend of romance, elegance, and authentic Italian charm.

How It All Began

When asked how they found me, Billy and Kierstyn shared:

“One day we decided to do a Google search for ‘best wedding planners in Tuscany’ and your Instagram was the first one we clicked on!”

From the very beginning, we worked together to craft a celebration that felt intentional, seamless, and truly them.

The Planning Journey

“The best part was being able to see everything about your wedding organized for you in one place. We loved being able to see our progress and create different galleries with photos and ideas we had.”

For them, the planning process was never stressful, but instead an exciting journey where ideas became reality.

The Wedding Day

Every detail of Billy & Kierstyn’s wedding was infused with thoughtfulness:

• Civil Ceremony in the Garden
  Surrounded by timeless castle walls and breathtaking views, the couple exchanged vows in the garden. I had the honor of being their official translator, making the ceremony both heartfelt and legally binding.

• Aperitivo on the Pool Terrace
  Guests enjoyed a relaxed aperitivo featuring Italian food corners and refreshing spritz cocktails, overlooking the Umbrian hills as the sun began to set.

• Dinner in the Courtyard
  Beneath glowing fairy lights, dinner was served at two long imperial tables. The couple enjoyed special moments together at their sweetheart table, soaking in the joy of the evening.

• Cake & Dancing
  A classic Italian millefoglie wedding cake, accompanied by sparklers, kicked off the evening celebration. Dancing continued late into the night inside the castle’s historic halls thanks to a sax player that accompanied them to hit the dance floor.

Their favorite moment?

“Seeing our wedding evening come together. With Dash’s direction and all of our vendors, they made our evening look more magical than we could ever imagine. We had all the confidence Dash and her team would take care of everything.”

The Floral Design

The floral project was a masterpiece of elegance, created to enhance the natural beauty of Castello di Rosciano. Inspired by a palette of blush, ivory, and soft greens, the design brought together roses, lisianthus, astilbe, wax flowers, and eucalyptus.

Highlights included:

• Bridal bouquet: a rounded yet natural arrangement of blush and ivory roses, accented with delicate greenery

• Bridesmaids & Boutonnieres: smaller bouquets echoing the bride’s, paired with soft, romantic boutonnieres

• Ceremony Arch & Aisle Flowers: an asymmetrical arch framed the vows, while grounded florals lined the aisle, creating a garden-like effect

• Petal Carpet & Tossing Cones: petals scattered along the aisle, with guests given cones of petals to shower the couple after their vows

• Reception Tables: elegant low urns overflowing with florals, surrounded by antique gold candleholders and votives, creating a warm, glowing atmosphere

• Place Settings: each guest’s plate adorned with a single bloom for a refined finishing touch

The entire floral project, carefully designed and executed, created an atmosphere that was both luxurious and intimate—perfectly in line with the couple’s vision.

Budget & Guest Experience

With a budget of €40,000 (guest accommodation covered separately), the couple prioritized meaningful experiences, refined décor, and an ambiance that truly reflected their personalities. Guests not only witnessed a wedding, but lived an unforgettable Italian celebration.

“Working with Dash throughout the entire wedding planning process was a dream. It is not easy to plan a wedding overseas, but with Dash she made it so easy. Dash was so helpful, as we relied on her for so many things, partly to be our eyes for what we could not see before our wedding ourselves. Dash is the most lovely and sweet human and we miss her and the planning process every day!”
